I keep coming across these amazing shades. The copper ones in particular are amazing and delightful. There is just something mesmerising about their reflective smoothness.
Originally designed in the late 60’s by Roberto Menghi, the ‘Globo di Luce’ lamp is made from finely hand blown glass with a rich metallic finish. It’s still available but pretty costly.
A less expensive version is by Tom Dixon (above). It’s just as amazing I think & I am lusting over them and now saving my pennies for one (or three). These metallic pendant shades look amazing in situ as clusters or solo and here are some stunning uses.
