Colour Coded: Grey

Grey may have the reputation as being glum & somber but I think it’s anything but.  To me it’s the smoky strong but silent colour.  Neutral enough so that it can be paired with an abundance of brighter accent tones but bold enough that it can hold its own.  From pale ash to thundery charcoal it’s a hue that can be easily used in any number of décor genres.  Just at home in a 40’s character bungalow as it is in a modern industrial apartment.  Girly it up and it’s feminine or leave it alone and its all man.  In short, don’t let its dreary associations cast a cloudy shadow on its perfect interior potential.  Here are a few of my leaden loves.
