Property Profile: Melbourne Converted Mattress Factory

Here is one for the Shabby Chic Lovers.  This character filled Vintage inspired abode used to be a rundown Mattress Factory and has been lovingly restored to become a veritable ‘Shabby Chic Romantic Rustic meets Rococo French Country’ retreat.  Take a tour with these images and you will be instantly transported into the pages of a Rachel Ashwell Coffee Table Book.  Love or Hate Shabby Chic – this is how you do it well x

Property Profile: Berlin Apartment

Loving this Über Cool Apartment in Berlin.  The Gorgeous Colour Palette with splashes of the Burnt Orange and Cool Calming Blue really caught my attention.  That, alongside the Spacious & Light Layout and Eclectic Mix of Modern and Vintage make it a Inspiring Space x

Property Profile: The White + Wood House

Welcome to the crisp & clean home of architect Anna Lanty Niklasson.  As it draws nearer to the depths of Winter here I feel myself drawn to homes that look like Summer Retreats and this abode defintely fits the bill. With a ‘Modern Hamptons’ aesthetic this White, Light & Spacious home makes you feel like you are always on holiday.  I especially love the Circle Window (one of 37 windows featured in the home) that frames the lush, green view.  Spotted on 79 Ideas

Property Profile: London Home of Photographer Debi Treloar

When I first came across this home it was lust at immediate sight.  A true Bohemian Rhapsody. It’s a veritable vintage treasure trove.  Debi says she has a passion for collecting odds and sods from fleamarkets and antique stores and clearly she has the knack of bringing them together to create an expressive & enchanting yet uncluttered home.  She has used a white base and dressed it up with unique pieces, a mix of pattern, colour and textures and beautiful & bold finds to create a cohesive, stylish and eclectic chic statement.  Check out her website here

50’s Pastel Perfection: Kitchen Love

I really love this Kitchen.  Inspired by the 50’s  – it is Pastel Retro meets Industrial Cool.  It makes fantastic use of a limited and awkward space.  The perfect blend of form + function.  Check out the fantastic blogger whom it belongs to at Sukkertoy for Oyet

INSPIRED BY: GEOMETRIC SHAPES

This trend shows no signs of waning. Geometric designs are huge at the moment and are popping up all over the place. We just can’t seem to get enough of the modern, graphic look these sharp-lined shapes like squares, diamonds, rectangles & trapezoids achieve.
